Dianne Harmata, Vice President

Dianne Harmata is Vice President/Head of Trust Administration at The Private Trust Company, N.A. (“PTC”). In this role, Dianne is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic goals and underlying service and fiduciary capabilities driving loyalty of clients and advisors.

Utilizing analytics and feedback to monitor her team , Dianne manages all aspects of Trust Administration service levels including staffing, client retention and satisfaction. Dianne directs the relationship management and discretionary fiduciary responsibilities by providing guidance and counsel to a dedicated and professional team of personal trust administrators who have responsibility for the oversight and administration of fiduciary and non-fiduciary relationships. In addition to the managerial and leadership responsibilities, Dianne manages a book of client accounts and performs trust administration functions by interacting directly with clients and advisors, providing relationship management and working with the assistance of other Trust Administrators.

Dianne joined PTC in 2021, having previously worked for Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., leading a team of trust administrators and responsible for the management of trusts for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Prior to her tenure at Wells Fargo Bank, Dianne was an attorney practicing primarily in estate and business planning. Dianne has a J.D. and LL.M. (taxation) from the University Of San Diego School Of Law, and holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (“CTFA’) designation.

Dianne has spent significant time abroad, having been an exchange student in Great Britain and Japan, studied EU law in Ireland and the Czech Republic, and attended graduate school in Hirakata-shi, Japan. She is an avid traveler, both domestically and internationally, and when not traveling, enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs.
