Tristan McCormick, Chief Fiduciary Officer
Tristan McCormick is the Chief Fiduciary Officer at The Private Trust Company (PTC). He leads the trust administration, estate settlement and retirement oversight functions, and upholds the highest standards of ethical conduct in all fiduciary matters.
Prior to joining PTC, Tristan held executive roles at Huntington Bank, including Fiduciary Risk Director and Chief Fiduciary Officer. Before entering management, Tristan worked in various roles advising clients and developing solutions for complex estate and wealth planning needs at PNC Bank and National City Bank, where he managed relationships involving trust, probate estate, charitable and endowment, individual retirement, and investment advisory services. Prior to entering the financial services industry, he practiced law for over 10 years, specializing in estate and business planning, as well as probate administration. Tristan holds a J.D. from Capital University Law School and a B.A. from Ohio State University. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio and in multiple federal courts.
Tristan lives in central Ohio and enjoys biking, pickleball, rooting for the Buckeyes, and spending time with his wife, three sons, and their two dogs.
