Philip Rosplock, Vice President
As Trust Officer and Chief Investment Officer of The Private Trust Company, N.A., Philip Rosplock is responsible for setting policy and strategic direction for monitoring delegated investment functions. Phil has served in this position since 2004 while also serving as a client service officer for many of the firm’s tenured clients.
Prior to joining PTC, Phil became an attorney in 1982 and began his trust career as a Trust Officer for BancOne in 1985. He managed the Painesville trust office for BancOne and was appointed as a vice-president in 1992, managing the personal trust department in Cleveland at that time.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University with an accounting major, and received his law degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. He is currently a member of the Lake County Bar Association, and the Cleveland Estate Planning Council.
Phil maintains an active involvement in the nonprofit community. He has served as past president of the Rotary Club of Painesville, and has been involved with the American Cancer Society planned giving efforts in Lake and Cuyahoga counties. He is a volunteer for many Special Olympic activities, and is actively involved with his son in those endeavors.
Phil resides in Concord, Ohio, an eastern suburb of Cleveland with his wife. They have two grown sons.
